Apricus Evacuated Tube Systems
Apricus evacuated tube systems absorb the sun’s energy by the tubes and is the transferred to your water via the innovative heat pipes located inside each tube. The heat pipes transfer the heat into a heat transfer manifold located on your roof. Water is then pumped through this manifold absorbing the heat and stored in a water storage tank located below. The result is an incredibly efficient system to harness the heat of the sun even in cold areas.
Apricus collectors can perform well even in freezing conditions thanks to thick glass-wool insulation within the manifold and vacuum insulated evacuated tubes.
Maintenance Free
Given the design of our evacuated tube system it is rarely necessary for any cleaning or maintenance. The occurance of lichen growth or moss is not an issue unlike other solar hot water systems.
